Betty Withdrawal Times

Two clocks run on every payout: the pending review, and the transfer itself. Most people only think about the second one, and that is why the first one feels like a delay. Here are both, measured rather than quoted.

See the Full Table
Median payout: 19 hours
Pending window: up to 24h
Min payout: C$20

A Betty withdrawal is two separate waits stitched together. First the request sits in pending while the risk team looks at it — up to 24 hours, usually a good deal less. Then the money moves, and how long that leg takes depends entirely on which rail you picked. Interac e-Transfer is minutes. A Visa Debit payout is one to three business days. A bank transfer is one to three business days that only start counting once the pending window has closed.

Across a summer of test payouts from an account we funded ourselves, the median time from pressing withdraw to money in the chequing account was 19 hours on Interac e-Transfer, and the slowest single result was 61 hours — a C$400 card payout requested at nine on a Friday night. Nothing in that spread is unusual for a Canadian-facing casino, but the shape of it is the point: the variation comes from the rail and the day of the week, not from how much you are taking out.

The rest of this page is the detail behind those numbers, in the order the money actually moves. If you have not chosen a payout method yet, the Betty payment methods page lists which rails can receive money at all — several popular deposit options cannot, and that decision is made when you deposit rather than when you withdraw.

The pending window, and why it exists

Every withdrawal goes into a pending state before anything is sent. Two things happen in it. The risk team runs its checks — matching the payout method to the deposit method, looking for bonus abuse patterns, confirming the account is verified. And you keep the ability to cancel the request and put the money back into your playable balance.

That second part is the one worth thinking about honestly. A reversible pending window is a convenience the first time you use it and a trap the fifth. If you know you are the sort of player who cancels a payout at two in the morning, the fix is not willpower: it is to request the withdrawal and then close the tab, or better, to use the deposit and loss limits in the responsible gambling section so the money you meant to keep is not sitting one click away from being back in play.

Do not open a game while a withdrawal is pending

On some cashier builds, returning to a game with a pending request in the queue is treated as an implicit cancellation and the balance goes straight back to playable. It is not a bug and there is no undo. Submit the request, then leave the site alone until you get the confirmation email.

Verification: the one delay entirely in your control

Deposits generally work on an unverified account. Withdrawals do not, and the first one is where the wall goes up. Three documents are asked for, and getting all three right the first time is the difference between a payout that clears overnight and one that takes three days.

Photo ID

Driver's licence, passport or provincial photo card. All four corners in frame, no flash glare across the hologram, and it must not be expired. A photo of a screen is rejected every time.

Proof of address

A utility bill, bank statement or government letter dated within three months, showing your name and the same address as your account. A mobile phone bill is accepted more often than people expect; a parcel delivery slip never is.

Proof of the payment method

A card photo with the middle digits covered, or a banking screenshot showing your name and the last digits of the account. It must be the same method you deposited on.

Upload all three the day you open the account and the first withdrawal behaves like the tenth. Leave it until payout day and you have added a document review — 24 to 72 hours, longer if something is rejected and has to be re-sent — to the front of the process. Nothing else on this page will save you as much time.

Withdrawal times by method

"Quoted" is what the terms page says. "Measured" is what we recorded on a verified account, counting from the moment the request was submitted to the money being spendable. Both include the pending window.

Measured on a fully verified account between May and August 2026, across 23 payouts ranging from C$40 to C$2,400, deliberately including weekends and two statutory holidays. Median rather than average, because one 61-hour Friday-night card payout would otherwise drag the whole picture out of shape. Last re-checked 29 August 2026.

Interac e-Transfer and bank transfer

Interac e-Transfer is the fastest reliable route out, and its advantage is structural rather than a matter of the casino trying harder. It settles through a domestic network that runs at all hours, so it does not care whether it is Sunday, and it does not wait for a card scheme to batch overnight. Once the pending window closes, the transfer notification usually arrives within a few minutes.

Two things slow it down. The first is auto-deposit: if you have not registered your email address for auto-deposit with your bank, you will get a notification and have to accept the transfer manually, and a transfer sitting unaccepted overnight looks exactly like a delayed payout when it is nothing of the sort. The second is the C$3,000 per-transfer ceiling — a larger payout is split, and the parts land on consecutive days rather than together.

Bank transfer is the slow, dependable fallback: C$50 minimum, one to three business days after approval, and entirely bound by business hours. It is what the cashier uses when your deposit rail cannot receive money. There is no way to hurry it, but there is a way to avoid needing it, which is to deposit on a two-way rail in the first place.

Cards and wallets

A Visa Debit payout is not the mirror image of a Visa Debit deposit. It travels as a credit through the card network, and issuers post those in batches — usually overnight, occasionally weekly. That is the whole explanation for why a deposit is instant and a payout on the same card takes two and a half days. Mastercard is deposit-only here, so a Mastercard deposit means a payout by e-Transfer or bank transfer.

Wallets are the quiet winners for anyone withdrawing often. MuchBetter, Neteller and Skrill all take a payout in under a day once the account is verified, and they hold the money outside your bank account, which some people prefer and others find is exactly the wrong incentive. Whichever camp you are in, decide it deliberately — a wallet balance that never reaches your bank is very easy to redeposit.

Apple Pay and Google Pay cannot receive money at all. Neither can Paysafecard. If any of those funded your account, plan on the payout arriving by e-Transfer or bank transfer to an account in your own name, and make sure those details are on file before you need them.

Why a payout gets held longer than it should

Documents rejected and re-requested

The commonest cause by a distance, and usually a cropped corner or an out-of-date bill. Check the account inbox rather than waiting for an email; the request is often sitting there unread.

Unmet wagering on a bonus

Bonus money and anything won from it is not withdrawable until the wagering is cleared. The cashier separates cash from bonus balance before you confirm — read that line rather than the total at the top of the screen.

A payout method that does not match the deposit

Anti-money-laundering rules require money to return the way it came, up to the deposited amount. Requesting a payout to a rail you have never deposited on triggers a manual review even when it is perfectly legitimate.

A jump in stake or balance

A first C$40 payout clears quietly. A C$4,000 one after a sudden change in playing pattern gets a human being looking at the account. That is a compliance obligation rather than an attempt to stall, and it resolves on its own — but it adds a day.

The cashier itself is down

Rare, but it happens during platform maintenance and it looks identical to a stalled payout from your side. The Betty status page is the quicker way to tell the two apart before you open a ticket.

What players report

Gathered from Canadian gambling forums and review threads over the past year. Paraphrased for length, dated so you can weigh how current they are, and chosen to include the complaints as well as the praise.

"Requested at 11pm on a Tuesday, e-Transfer notification was in my inbox before lunch the next day. First one took longer because of the ID upload, everything since has been overnight."

Ontario player, forum thread — 14 June 2026

"Learned the hard way that a Friday night card withdrawal means Tuesday. Nothing wrong with it, just nobody tells you that the business-day clock stops."

Alberta player, review site comment — 2 August 2026

"C$6,000 came in three e-Transfers over three days. Support told me upfront it would, which I appreciated, but I would have picked a bank transfer if I had known before I hit the button."

Ontario player, forum thread — 21 July 2026

"Proof of address bounced twice because my bill was four months old. That was on me, but the rejection message could have said which document was the problem."

Betty withdrawal times FAQ

How long does a Betty withdrawal take?

Counting from the moment you press withdraw: a pending review of up to 24 hours, then the transfer itself. Interac e-Transfer and the wallets land the same day once approved, Visa Debit takes one to three business days, and a bank transfer takes one to three business days on top of the pending window. Our median across a summer of tests was 19 hours on e-Transfer.

Why is my Betty withdrawal still pending?

Pending is a deliberate hold, not a queue problem. It gives the risk team time to check the account and it gives you the chance to reverse the withdrawal — which is exactly why it exists. Most requests clear inside 24 hours; a first withdrawal, an unusually large one, or one submitted over a long weekend takes longer.

What is the fastest way to get paid at Betty?

Interac e-Transfer, by a wide margin, provided you deposited on it too. It clears the pending window like everything else, but the transfer itself is a matter of minutes rather than business days, and it does not depend on a card network batch or a bank cut-off time.

Do I need to verify my identity before withdrawing from Betty?

Yes, and the first withdrawal is where it is enforced. Expect to supply photo ID, a proof of address dated within three months, and a screenshot of the payment method you used. Uploading all three when you open the account rather than when you want paying is the single biggest saving available on your first payout.

Is there a minimum Betty withdrawal?

C$20 on Interac e-Transfer, the wallets and cards, and C$50 on a bank transfer. There is no maximum for most players, but a very large balance is paid in instalments — e-Transfer caps at C$3,000 per transfer, so a five-figure win arrives across several days.

Does Betty charge a withdrawal fee?

No. The cashier takes nothing out of a payout. A crypto withdrawal still carries a blockchain network fee, and Instadebit applies a small per-withdrawal charge on some accounts, but neither of those is the casino.

Why was my withdrawal reversed back into my balance?

Almost always because it was cancelled rather than reversed by the operator — either by you, or by opening a game while a request was pending on a cashier that treats that as a cancellation. Check the transaction log in your account: a cancelled request shows there with a timestamp.

Can I withdraw to a different method than I deposited with?

Only up to the amount you deposited must return the same way. Above that, or where the deposit rail cannot receive money, the payout goes to Interac e-Transfer or a bank transfer in your own name. You cannot pay in on your own card and out to somebody else's account.

Are withdrawals slower on weekends at Betty?

The pending review runs seven days a week, so e-Transfer and wallet payouts land at weekends much as they do midweek. Bank transfers and card payouts do not — those sit until the next business day, which is why a Friday evening request on a card can genuinely mean Tuesday.

What happens to a withdrawal if I have an unfinished bonus?

Any balance still tied to unmet wagering is not withdrawable, and attempting a payout usually forfeits the bonus portion and anything won from it. Clear the wagering first, or accept the forfeit knowingly — the cashier will tell you which part of the balance is cash before you confirm.
